Details

Join the conversation during our fourth annual Philosophers' Camp this autumn, a collaboration between SUNY-ESF's Northern Forest Institute, Clarkson University and The Land Institute.

The event takes place each year at ESF's historic Masten House.  Originally built as a private summer residence in the 1890s, Masten is bound by the Adirondack High Peaks Region with access to some of the most pristine trails and backcountry destinations in the Park.  Here we are perfectly placed to enjoy a series of seminar discussions that include selections from Martin Heidegger and Henry David Thoreau, on what it means to dwell and how we ought to live in the world.
