The Philosophical Journal of Conflict and Violence is looking for a guest-editor for its May 2019 issue (Vol.3/1). Preferred topics are: (1) violence and technology; (2) philosophical perspectives on modern wars ; (3) reflections on violence and conflict pertaining to the work of a modern western philosopher.

Maximal paper length is 60,000 characters including spaces and footnotes. Papers are expected to be submitted for double-blind peer review by no later than March 2019.

Prospective guest-editors should contact Andreas Wilmes ([email protected]) & Teodora Artimon ([email protected]) by no later than the 30th of June 2018. In your e-mail, please state: (1) your current academic position and affiliations; (2) your provisional topic or title for the journal issue; (3) a brief explanation of your expertise in this field of study; (4) a concise note (100 - 500 words) on your editorial project and its feasibility.

You will receive a receipt acknowledgement message and be informed about the editorial’s board decision by the beggining of July.
