Conference Theme: Freedom and Society

We welcome papers in any area of philosophy, but papers that engage the themes of freedom and/or society are especially encouraged. In relation to the theme, papers could address debates in political philosophy about the nature and conditions of political freedom, existential questions, questions about the scope and limits of moral freedom, or metaphysical questions about freedom. Alternatively, papers could address a similarly broad range of philosophical perspectives on society, or on issues concerning the interplay between the two. We encourage original philosophical approaches to the theme.

Submissions from graduate students are welcome. Please send papers (3000 words) prepared for blind review to [email protected].

If you are interested and willing to provide a commentary response to a paper at the conference, please send your name and general areas of interest to [email protected].
