The MANCEPT Workshops is an annual conference in political theory, organised under the auspices of the Manchester Centre for Political Theory. This year’s conference will take place on Monday 9th September to Wednesday 11th September 2019 at the Arthur Lewis Building, University of Manchester. The conference offers academics an opportunity to come together in a series of workshops so as to develop specialised work and engage in lively philosophical discussion. Attracting scholars throughout the world, the conference is now established as a leading international forum dedicated to the development of research in all subfields of political theory.

We are now accepting applications for workshop convenors. Applications are made by submitting a short (500 word) abstract describing the subject of your workshop.

The deadline for workshop proposals is 25th of February  2019.

If you are interested in convening a workshop or require any further information please e-mail the workshop organisers Joseph T F Roberts, Vittorio Gerosa, and Molly Powell at: [email protected]

This year we will be holding the conference dinner at The Midlands Hotel, 16 Peter St, Manchester M60 2DS
