Conference theme: Being at  home/homelss in the World of the Sensibile.

The sensible world is primordial. It is already there  before the ememergnce of the  split between the corporeal and the incorporeal. This split is a derivative interpretation of what it is to be human. It presupposes a more promordial sense of being human -mode of being human is inscribed in the wold of the sensible in a manner that predates mind-body dualism. Inhaiting such a world consitutes an elemental experience of being at home. It also provides a basis for an elemental understanding of human homelessness. It provides a basis for an elemental xperence of the bond that human beings have with non-human beings. In such a world, one is able to undergo a unique sensorial lived-experiene.

We invite abstracts that draw inspiration from the world of the sensible, that pay attention to it, and that affirm our shared dwelling in it. Presentations that address being at home or being homeless in it in any manner of its mutlitple expressions are welcome. The conference is multidisciplinary.

Please send an absract of 200 words to [email protected]. Abstracts are due on January 31, 2019.
