Details

The philosophy graduate students at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign invite submissions of quality work by current graduate students in any area of philosophy, particularly those on early modern philosophy. Pa-pers focusing on the work of Margaret Atherton are especially encouraged.

A $100 prize will be awarded to the author of the best paper on early modern philosophy.

Papers should be approximately 3000 words in length and preceded by a 250-word abstract. All submissions should be prepared for blind review. Papers should be suitable for a 25 minute presentation, which will be followed by a 10 minute commentary, 5 minute response, and 15 minutes of discussion.

Deadline: February 11th, 2019

Decisions Expected: Mid Febru-ary, 2019
