Call For Papers:

We are pleased to announce the Cyprus Metaethics workshop 2019, which will take place on 12th April at the University of Cyprus. The keynote speakers will be Bart Streumer (Groningen) and Debbie Roberts (Edinburgh).

We have three remaining slots for speakers and invite submissions of abstracts for talks within any area of Metaethics, or metanormativity more broadly construed (epistemic, semantic, logical, aesthetic etc.). Abstracts should be up to 1000 words, should be suitable for a 40 minute talk (followed by 20 minutes Q&A), and should be anonymised for blind review.

We aim to help junior members of the profession and,if there are available funds, we would like to use these to offset the cost of travel. But as our good will is conditional on availability of funds, we ask that contributors apply to any available sources of funding from their own institutions in the first instance.

We would also like the workshop to be representative of the philosophical community and we strongly encourage submissions from anyone who is a member of a traditionally underrepresented group (women, minorities etc.).

The deadline for submissions is 12th February 2019 and we aim to provide a response within two weeks. For more information, see our PhilEvents page https://philevents.org/event/show/68750 and to submit please visit our EasyChair page https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=cymew2019.

Please feel free to get in touch with Christos Kyriacou ([email protected]) or Kevin Wallbridge ([email protected]) with any further questions you may have.
