CFP: Call for Papers Graduate and Undergraduate Student Journal

Dear☂Philosopher, 

We are Platform for philosophy ⇝Magazine⇜ (put differently, Plaf Mag.). Plaf Mag. is an academic journal for students with a peer reviewed structure. Twice a year we publish an edition both in print and online.

We want to fill Plaf Mag. with your work, because we are convinced that you too have something relevant to contribute to the philosophical discourse.✎ That’s why we ask you to open up your dusty old drawer, and to pick a paper that, despite your modest resume ♛, deserves to be published. Hoping that you won’t write papers anymore solely to let them be graded, we won’t give you a grade either. We will give you a elaborate review and, if your paper is fit for publication, a DOI-code (which is very cool ❉ because with this code both you and the rest of the world can cite your paper in the future).

We believe that a PhD forms no necessary condition to make an interesting argument. The only thing we ask of you is that you take your own argument serious enough to sent it in. More specifically, to send it in to [email protected], stating the subject of your paper. The only constraint is that you’re either a bachelor or a master student (or at least not a PhD-student). You may write your paper in English,✔ you may write it in Dutch,✔ we might even be willing to consider German✔or French✔ papers!

Surely one cannot always have an inexhaustible stock of papers just lying there in a drawer. Although the first does not rule out the latter, if this is the case we urge you to ➊ run straight up to the library and write one or ➋ step into the philosophical discourse by reviewing papers fit for publishing, together with Plaf.
