CFP: Ninth Meeting of the Spanish Society for Analytic Philosophy (SEFA 2019). University of Valencia. 21-23 November 2019

ANNOUNCEMENT:

The Spanish Society for Analytic Philosophy is pleased to announce its Ninth Meeting (SEFA 2019), which will be held in Valencia from the 21st to the 23rd of November 2019, organised by the Department of Philosophy and the Faculty of Philosophy and Educational Sciences of the University of Valencia.  

SUBMISSIONS:

The Society welcomes submissions for both papers and proposals for symposia, in English, Spanish, Catalan, Galician or Basque, on any philosophical topic. All contributions will be blind-refereed. Efforts will be made to include in the program original papers and symposia from different philosophical disciplines. Submissions should meet the following requirements: 

●    Papers should consist of a detailed summary of the intended talk (about 1000 words). Summaries are expected to clearly indicate the topic, highlight its relevance, and provide a sketch of the main argument(s). Papers should be suitable for a 30-minute presentation followed by a 10-minute discussion.

●  Symposia should include a brief abstract for each participant’s talk (fully anonymised, max. 1000 words) and a general justification of the symposium’s relevance (max. 500 words). Each session will last a maximum of two hours.
