Any abstract that relates to the theme, broadly construed, or that relates to the overall mission of CPP, is welcome. Topics might include, but are not limited to:

personal identity and political identity

peace in conditions of diversity

diversity and political polarity

cooperation in conditions of polarity

historical conceptions of polarity and peace

individual and institutional politics

technological polarization and prospects for peace
We welcome submissions from undergraduates, graduate students, and professional philosophers, as well as from a range of fields including philosophy, law, public policy, business, history, religious studies, political science, social science, or related fields. Submissions from teachers, researchers, or practitioners are also welcome, particularly insofar as those presentations could complement the theme of the conference. We also especially welcome proposals from women and minorities, and are committed to making this year’s conference inclusive and welcoming to all.
**There will be a $100 prize for the best graduate student paper.**
Submission Guidelines:Please submit an abstract (no more than 500 words) to Jennifer Kling at [email protected] by June 15, 2019.Please submit abstracts as .doc, .docx, or .pdf. Please include your name, institutional affiliation, e-mail address, and paper title in the body of your e-mail. Please use “CPP 2019 submission” in the subject line of your email. Acceptance notices will be sent out no later than July 30th.
