Details

The aim of the conference is to foster a dialogue between Kant Studies and Contemporary Analytic Philosophy of Art and Aesthetics. We hope to analyse Kant’s aesthetic theory in its historical context and to reveal its contemporary relevance, primarily by showing how his ideas relate to and contribute to issues discussed in contemporary philosophy of art and aesthetics. We invite submission from both Kant scholars working on any aspect of Kant’s theory which relates to his third Critique, aestheticians and philosophers of art.
