International conference organized by Institute of Philosophy (Academy of Sciences of Czech Republic) and UNESCO Chair in Bioethics (Faculty of Arts, University of Prešov, Slovakia).
The aim of this event is to relate the philosophical questions of “end of life” and of “life ending”: During the last decades the issues of euthanasia have been extensively debated from various perspectives, including ethical, philosophical, clinical, legal, psychological, religious, social, economical, and political ones. Discussing and publication of contemporary views from different countries should contribute to a critical debate on the related issues in ethics and philosophy of medicine.
Please, send your applications together with the abstracts (100-200 words) by 4th September 2019 to the following email address: [email protected] wendy. [email protected]
Acknowledgements of acceptance will be given by 24th September 2019. Speakers will be invited to submit their papers for peer-review and publishing in the SCOPUS indexed journal "Ethics & Bioethics (in Central Europe)". https://content.sciendo.com/view/journals/ebce/ebce-overview.xml
