CFP: The 4th Annual Conference of the Houston Community College Philosophy department

Overview: The Houston Community College Department of Philosophy, Humanities, and Library Sciences welcomes you to submit a paper to its 4rd annual conference to be held October 18 – 19th, 2019 at HCC’s Central Campus.

Submissions: We invite submissions on any philosophical topic are welcome. Papers should be no longer than 3,000 words (excluding notes and references), suitable for reading aloud, and prepared for blind review. Please include the following information on a cover page in a separate file:

1. Title of paper
2. 100-word abstract (excluded from word count)
3. Word count (excluding notes and references)
4. Author's name
5. Author's institutional affiliation
6. Author's email address
7. Should your paper not be accepted, please indicate whether you would still be willing to serve as commentator or section chair.

Papers not prepared for blind review or exceeding this length will not be considered. Papers should be submitted electronically to:

Submission Deadline:  Papers must be received by August 1st, 2019. 

There is no registration fee for this conference. The conference will be held at Houston Community College, Central Campus, 1300 Holman, Houston, TX 77013.
