Details
The 2020 speaker for the annual Aquinas Lectureship at Marquette University (to take place February 23, 2020) is Prof. Sarah Broadie, Professor of Moral Philosophy and Wardlaw Professor at the University of St Andrews. Her Aquinas Lecture will be on Plato.
To accompany Prof. Broadie’s visit and to take advantage of her presence, we are organizing a two-day conference centered on her work (February 20-21). Prof. Broadie will personally attend the two-day conference and comment on the papers given. We invite paper submissions on themes in the work of Sarah Broadie. Preference will be giving to papers that substantially engage with her writings. Please send us title, detailed abstract (max. 1000 words), name & institutional affiliation no later than October 1, 2019. Speakers will be notified of acceptances by November 1, 2019. More information on the conference (including travel and accommodation) will be forthcoming later in the fall. Please send your material to [email protected] or contact him with any questions.
