Florida State University’s chapter of the Minorities and Philosophy Club (MAP @ FSU) invites submissions in any area of philosophy for its 13th Annual Graduate Philosophy Conference to be held on Friday, March 27, 2020.

Our Keynote Speaker will be Kate Abramson, Associate Professor of Philosophy, Indiana University Bloomington.  

Submission Guidelines

I. Submission Deadline: Please send submissions to [email protected] by Friday, January 31, 2020.

II. Submissions must meet the following requirements:

i. A submission must be an abstract of no more than 500 words of a paper that explores the intersection of philosophy and race, gender, class, sexuality, disability, culture, and/or native language. Papers should be suitable for a 20-25 minute presentation.

ii. Submit abstracts with a separate cover sheet containing your name, home institution, contact information, and the title of your paper.

iii. Abstracts must be prepared for anonymous review.

We particularly welcome submissions from philosophers representing minority or underrepresented groups!

Accepted speakers will be notified by Friday, February 28, 2020.
