Workshop on Free Will and Agency

To be held on May 21-22, 2020 at the Instituto de Investigaciones Filosóficas-UNAM, in Mexico City.

We invite submissions from graduate students and early career scholars interested in working with the Latin American philosophical community on topics related to free will, agency and responsibility.

Submission information

Deadline for submission of abstracts: December 15, 2019.

Abstracts must be in English and not exceed 700 words. Authors must send two files: 

i) a document which includes the abstract with title; prepared for blind review without the author’s personal information; 

ii) a file with the following information: author’s name, affiliation, title of the presentation and email.

Files must be submitted in PDF to [email protected]

Each submission will be anonymously reviewed by workshop committee members. Accepted abstracts should be suitable for a thirty-minute presentation, followed by comments.

Accepted abstracts will be announced on January 15, 2020.

First drafts must be submitted by April 20, 2020.

Some funding will be available for accepted speakers.
