Greenwich Social Work Review is a biannual peer-reviewed journal for students, practitioners and academics in the field of social work to share their research, practice experiences and varied perspectives. The journal addresses all areas of social work, with emphasis on papers that focus on key global challenges, and publishes research/original papers, reflection pieces and case studies. Specifically, the journal invites submissions that:
- Promote and analyse current themes in social work;
- Debate key aspects of social work within contemporary contexts;
- Examine issues pertinent to human service organisations;
- Explores global challenges (e.g. poverty and deprivation) and are comparative by nature;
- Reflect the diversity of social work.
We invite papers for its first issue from scholars and practitioners who work across the fields of social work, and in particular papers that focus on key global challenges; poverty; hunger; disasters; inequalities; social injustices. They may include but are not limited to the following themes:
· Comparative social work
· Disaster social work
· Climate change and social work
· Health inequalities and social work
· Social inequalities and social work
· Immigration and social work
