Keynote: Jenifer Sunrise Winter, University of Hawaii at Manoa

The University of Kentucky is hosting its anual graduate student conference. This year our keynote speaker will be professor Jenifer Sunrise Winter, University of Hawaii at Manoa. The topic will be "Ethics in our Contemporary Age". We are interested in papers which included a discussion of ethical problems and situations relating to technology, digital media, the current political landscape, bioethics, and ethical theory generally construed. Papers which cross disciplinary boundaries are also encouraged.

Submission Requirements:

1) Papers should be submitted by January 13th via email to [email protected]

2) Be prepared for blind review. Papers must contain a separate title page with contact information, institution information, and an abstract of approximately 300 words. The main body of the paper should not contain any identifying information.

3) Papers should be double spaced in Times New Roman font in either .doc, .odt, or .pdf format, be approximately 2000 - 4500 words, use a footnote citation system with associated bibliography, and must be presentable within 40-60 minutes.
