Paradoxes evoke amazement, confusion and the desire for the extraordinary. But that's not all: they are paradoxes that point to fundamental problems in philosophy, mathematics and the natural sciences and challenge us to revolutionary solutions. Some paradoxes may even mark insurmountable limits to our knowledge. This lecture series will deal with the paradoxes of confirmation, quantum entanglement, truth, infinity, knowledge, vagueness, and hearing. All those interested are cordially invited.
