The Department of Philosophy at the American University in Cairo is pleased to host an international conference on the philosophy of Arthur Schopenhauer in celebration of 200 years since the publication of his magnum opus The World as Will and Representation.

This is a one day conference from 9.00am -- 6pm featuring talks from Christopher Janaway (Southampton), Daniel Came (Lincoln), Gudrun von Tevenar (Birkbeck), and more. This conference is free to attend, and all are welcome. Please register your intent to attend with [email protected]
