It is our pleasure to invite you to the OPENING CEREMONY of the 8th International Multidisciplinary Scientific Conferences on the Dialogue between Sciences & Arts, Religion & Education in conjunction with International Scientific Conference Education, Quality & Sustainable Development- 6th Edition. OPEN SCHOOLING: SUSTAINABILITY ISSUES, KNOWLEDGE MAPPING AND AI TOOLS

Presentation by

Professor PhD. Alexandra OKADA, Open University, UK

 Dr. Alexandra Okada is an educational researcher at the Open University and a senior fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Her expertise lies at intersections between Science Technology and Education.  Her studies draw on sociocultural theory, critical pedagogy and mixed methods to explore how to prepare the next generation for Responsible Research and Innovation to shape a sustainable world. “RRI” aims to align scientific development with societal needs through the interaction of five sectors: 1. educational communities, 2. scientific institutions, 3. business and industry, 4. civil society organisations and 5. policy makers. Her experience includes supporting these five sectors. Prior to joining OU, she worked as a 1. teacher  in primary and secondary schools, 2. academic lecturer at the open university in Brazil and Portugal, 3. computer scientist at Johnson & Johnson and IBM, 4. senior consultant to the Association for Science Education UK and to 5. policy advisor the Secretary of Continuing Education, Literacy, Diversity and Inclusion of Brazilian Government. Alexandra holds a BSc Computer Science (Hons); MA (Education: Curriculum); Postgraduate qualification in Further Education (PGCFE), MBA (Knowledge Management and Science Communication); PhD (Education: Technology enhanced learning). Currently she is the scientific coordinator of the European funded project CONNECT – inclusive open schooling with future oriented science. She is also principal investigator of OLAF – Online Learning and Fun.

God and the Law of Nature

Associate Professor PhD. Marina KOLOVOPOULOU, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece

Dr. Marina Kolovopoulou is an Associate Professor of History of Dogma at the Department of Theology of the Theological School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She studied Theology at the Department of Theology of the University of Athens (Degree and Doctorate in Theology) and Early Church History at King's College London. As a member of the university community, Kolovopoulou has participated in international conferences and consultations, and as a representative of the Church of Greece she has been member of the Central Committee of the European Council of Churches (CEC) and the Executive Committee of the World Council of Churches (WCC). Currently she is member of the Central Committee of the WCC, member of the Permanent Committee on Consensus and Collaboration of WCC and vice-moderator, representing WCC, of the Joint Consultative Group for the dialogue of WCC with the Pentecostals. Kolovopoulou’s scientific interests cover a variety of thematics of History of Dogma concerning patristic theology, the teaching of the symbolic texts of the Orthodox Church in relation to the western theological development and the living tradition of the Church up today.

Professor PhD. Jacques COULARDEAU, University Paris I, Panthéon-Sorbonne, Paris, France

He was educated at University Michel de Montaigne Bordeaux III, University of California at Davis California, and University Charles de Gaulle Lille III in general structural linguistics, phylogenic linguistics and Germanic linguistics. He was a visiting lecturer in UC Davis, U. Bordeaux III, U.Lille III, Buddhist Center at Pidurangala Sri Lanka, U. Perpignan at Mende, U. Paris II Panthéon Assas, U. Paris I Panthéon Sorbonne, U. Paris Dauphine, U. Versailles Saint Quentin en Yvelines at Mantes la Jolie, U. Paris VIII Vincennes Saint-Denis. He holds two Ph.D. in Germanic linguistics and in Didactics of Foreign Languages. His research has been essentially in linguistics, in English and American literature and arts, in drama, opera and cinema. In 2003 he entered the field of Buddhism and Pāli linguistics and went back to  phytogenic linguistics with his present research on the Language of Cro-Magnon and the relations between the phylogeny of language, the migrations of Homo Sapiens out of Africa and the classification of languages. He is often working with younger assistants for various projects, among others Paula Osorio from Venezuela and Ivan Eve from Paris Sorbonne.

IT'S MORE THAN JUST A GAME!  GAMIFICATION OF EDUCATION AND ITS FORMATIVE POTENTIAL

Professor PhD. Adina Elena GLAVA, Babeș-Bolyai University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania

Adina Elena GLAVA is an Associate Professor at Babeș-Bolyai University, the Faculty of Psychology and Sciences of Education, Department of Educational Sciences. She is also one of the vice-deans at The Faculty of Psychology and Sciences of Education of BBU. Her main teaching, research and administrative focuses are related to curriculum development, preschool and primary school education and learning management. Her special professional focus is on early childhood education, being a nationally well-known expert in this field. She Is also appreciated for her studies In the field of curriculum development In relation with the continuing teacher training, training of educational mentors and training of transversal 21st century skills. She was involved in several policy development actions related to these topics, at institutional and national level. Her research was published in relevant field journals and her scientific work is reflected by more than 50 publications of both article and book type. She is directly involved in guiding both master and doctoral level students research and was a very appreciated field trainer of professionals in numerous national and European projects. She is a member of Romanian Educational Research Association.

ILLNESS IN HUMAN LIFE –THE CLOSED LIFE SITUATION

Presentation by

Professor PhD. Cecilia CURIS, Dunărea de Jos” University of Galați, Romania

 GP, MD – PhD (Doctoral work: Psychosomatic illness in internal medicine-diagnostic and therapeutic acceptance). Master’s degree in Cognitive-Behavioral Psychotherapy, Psychotherapist in Clinical Hipnosys and Ericksonian Therapy. Lecturer at Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy, and at  Faculty of Arts – Department of  Theater, Music and Plastic Arts (Music therapy) within the „Dunarea de Jos” University of Galati. Currently coordinates the activity of a medical team. Organizational and economic management skills obtained by studying some subjects included in the university study program (bachelor and master's degree - organizational and managerial psychology, economic psychology).
