The Philosophy Department at the University of Windsor is proud to announce the 16th annual graduate and 14th annual undergraduate Critical Reflections Philosophy Conference.
All undergraduate and graduate students interested in participating are invited to submit a 250-400 word abstract for a 10-12 page paper (suitable for a 20 minute presentation). Presentations will be followed by a 10 minute question and answer period. While submissions from any area of philosophy are welcome, topics related to the environment, animals, and nature will be given special consideration.
The deadline for submissions is February 14, 2020. Notice of acceptance can be expected within a few days after the deadline. Abstracts will be chosen by blind review. All submissions should include the name of applicant, the level of study and the institution they are associated with. Critical Reflections will be held in the McPherson Lounge of Alumni Hall at the University of Windsor on March 27-28, 2020. Unfortunately, the University of Windsor cannot provide financial assistance to those traveling to the conference. Conference attendance is open to the public with no registration or fees required.
