**Zurich-LMU Early Career Conference on ‘Relational Normativity’, UZH Zurich May 30-31 2020**   Keynote Speakers: Monika Betzler (LMU), Nicolas Cornell (Michigan), Peter Schaber (UZH), Ariel Zylberman (SUNY).

The aim of this conference is to bring together philosophers working on the theme of ‘Relational Normativity’, broadly conceived, such as to cover a range of topics in moral, legal, and political philosophy. Possible topics include, but are not limited to, the nature of directed obligations, wronging, rights, claims, authority, trust, interpersonal accountability practices, and the normative structure of respect.

We aim to fill the 4 remaining conference slots via a call for abstracts. Abstracts should be roughly between 750 and 1000 words in length and provide a summary of the main conclusions and arguments of the paper/talk. The abstracts will be subject to blind review. Since this conference aims to bring together early career philosophers, eligibility to submit abstracts is limited to those who have defended their dissertations no earlier than 2012.

Please send your anonymised abstracts to [email protected] by February 15th 2020.

Notification of acceptance will be sent out no later than the end of February.

For questions regarding this conference or submission guidelines, please contact us at [email protected].

We expect to be able to offer financial support (travel&accommodation) to speakers traveling to Zurich for this conference.
