UPDATE:  Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Formats of Vision & Thought Workshop (originally scheduled for May 3-4, 2020) has been rescheduled for 5-6 May 2022 at the Gladstone Hotel in Toronto.

Seeing and thinking are information-processing activities. What are the forms in which visual and cognitive information are coded? This question is of immense interest for both psychological research into the processes underlying vision and thinking and for philosophical investigation into the nature of mind and knowledge. This Workshop brings together a select group of theorists working on this issue from around the world.
