The Liberty University Philosophy Department and University of Lynchburg Philosophy Department are accepting student paper submissions for the first Undergraduate Philosophy Conference to be held at Liberty University on Friday March 6-7, 2020.

Keynote Speaker is Gary R. Habermas, Professor of Philosophy at Liberty University, Lynchburg, Virginia

We invite submissions of undergraduate student Philosophy papers written in a broadly analytic style. Papers by current graduate students will not be accepted. Submission paper should be 2000-4000 words, not including abstract and bibliography. Papers should not include any identifying information. Please include author’s name, institutional affiliation, paper title, and abstract on a separate cover sheet and send along with the paper submission. 

Selection is on a competitive basis – only 6 or 7 of the best papers will be accepted for presentation.  Authors of accepted papers will be notified by February 23. Overnight accomodations for accepted speakers during the conference is available upon request. There is a small prize pool for the best paper and the best respondent, along with Liberty University Philosophy Department Certification.
