XXI Taller d’Investigació en Filosofia – Philosophy Graduate Conference
On May the 7th and the 8th, 2020, the XXI Taller d’Investigació en Filosofia – Philosophy Graduate Conference will take place at the University of Girona.
The conference is addressed to those philosophers who are currently elaborating their doctoral dissertation or have defended it in the last three years.
Call for papers:
Contributions to the XXI Taller d’Investigació en Filosofia can be either in Catalan, Spanish or English, and they can be about any topic of philosophical interest. Each session will consist of a 45-minute talk, a 15-minute commentary and a 30-minute discussion (approximately). Proposals for talks should be submitted via email: [email protected]
Every applicant should submit a short abstract (ca. 100 words) characterizing the topic, and, in a separate PDF file, an extended abstract of 2000 to 2500 words developing the claims defended in the talk and the arguments provided in their support. To guarantee blind refereeing, applicants should ensure that submitted PDF and abstracts do not contain personal details.
Proposals should be sent before February the 9th, 2020. Applicants will receive an answer by the 16th of March, 2020.
