The University of Kansas Graduate Association of Philosophy Students is pleased to announce our 5th Annual Undergraduate Philosophy Conference. The keynote speaker this year will be Natalia Washington (Assistant Professor, University of Utah).

We welcome papers in any area of philosophy suitable for a 20 minute talk. Each paper will receive comments from a KU philosophy graduate student (10 minutes), and be followed by a question and answer session (15 minutes). All undergraduate students are eligible to submit papers. We strongly encourage individuals belonging to underrepresented groups to participate in the conference.

A $100 prize will be awarded to the best paper to be presented at the conference.

Papers should be submitted as a Word document or pdf and prepared for blind review. Please include a separate cover sheet with full name, paper title, university or college, e-mail address, and phone number. Please ensure that the title of the paper is the same as the title on the cover page.

Send papers to Chelsea Bowden at [email protected] by February 29, 2020. Notification of acceptance will be by March 4, 2020.

For further questions, contact Chelsea Bowden at [email protected].
