Law-Language-Philosophy Research Network (LLPRN) is pleased to announce the Call for Papers for the Conference held on May 8-10, 2020. The event is open for young scholars - both undergraduate, graduate students and PhD candidates.
The conference is organized by Jagiellonian Centre for Law, Language and Philosophy, which is a joint institution of Faculty of Law and Administration as well as Faculty of Philosophy of Jagiellonian University in Cracow. It aims at initiating, organizing and coordinating different forms of activity that fits the wide scope of interdisciplinary research within the fields of legal theory/philosophy of law and philosophy of language with a strong leaning towards analytic background. The event is part of the project “Law-Language-Philosophy Research Network”, which includes Institut Jean Nicod, Surrey University, University of Milan, University of Zagreb, along with the Jagiellonian University Krakow.
Submission Guidelines
The conference aims to bring together young scholars interested in contemporary philosophy of law and legal theory. Organizers intend to enable a space for a lively interchange of ideas and broaden horizons of young scholars and this event will be a great opportunity to achieve this aim, as well as establishment of better connection between students.
The conference’s themes are not strictly limited. We are open for talks from general jurisprudence and its specific themes, as positivist and non-positivist approaches, such as: Critical Legal Studies; Law and Culture, realism and naturalism in law, analytical tradition; Gender & Law.

Each contributed paper would be given 30 minutes – about 20 minutes for a talk and 10 minutes for a discussion.

Fees
The conference fee is 40 EUR. The fee includes meals and social programs.
The fee does not include accommodation, however organizers will provide special discounts in local hostels.
