Details

The Indiana University Philosophy Club invites you to present your original work at this year’s undergraduate philosophy conference on April 17. The conference aims to provide a format in which undergraduate students can present their work on philosophical issues and to foster undergraduate engagement with philosophy.

  Submissions

We invite submissions on any philosophical topic, or on a broad array of topics not central to philosophy itself – religion, science, literature, anthropology, etc. – provided they are considered from a philosophical perspective.

Please submit an abstract of no more than 300 words by February 29. Final papers ought to be between 2500 and 3000 words – presenters will have a 30-minute total block, of which between 15 and 20 minutes should be devoted to the presentation so that time remains for questions. Presentations can include PowerPoints.

Students whose abstracts are accepted will need to submit the completed paper by March 31. Applicants can expect to be informed of their acceptance status by mid-March.

Please format all submissions for blind review. Submit abstracts through form linked at the top of this page.
