The LanCog group at the Centro de Filosofia, University of Lisbon, is glad to announce the upcoming Workshop on “Advances in Individual & Social Epistemology”, which will take place at the University of Lisbon the 28th and 29th of May, 2020. The workshop will include talks by the following scholars (and possibly a few others):

Christoph Kelp (University of Glasgow), Sandy Goldberg (Northwestern University), Tommaso Piazza (University of Pavia), Mona Simion (University of Glasgow), Michel Croce (University of Lisbon & University of Edinburgh), and Domingos Faria (University of Lisbon).

A limited number of spots are reserved for external contributors. Abstracts of about 500 words, prepared for blind refereeing, should be sent as email attachments to [email protected]. Submissions in any area of individual and/or social epistemology, broadly construed, are welcome.

Deadline for submission: April 1, 2020

Communication of acceptance/rejection: April 9, 2020

Registration will be free, but the accepted contributors will have to cover their travel & accommodation expenses.
