Submission deadline: December 31, 2020

Topic areas

Details

We are pleased to announce the launch of the Journal of Controversial Ideas, the first open access and peer-reviewed journal specifically created to promote free inquiry on controversial topics.

We welcome submissions on a wide range of topics, and from a variety of disciplines, so long as they address issues that have implications for society at large. Papers can be submitted and published either under the author’s name or under a pseudonym.

The journal will be neutral with respect to political, philosophical, religious and social views.

Frequency of publication will depend on the number of submissions we receive that are judged to be of sufficiently high quality to merit publication. Manuscripts submitted must be written in English. We encourage submissions of fewer than 10,000 words.
