This talk is a part of an online speaker series hosted through The New School for Social Research entitled "The Current Moment." This series of talks offers perspectives on the pandemic by ten NSSR faculty members from several academic disciplines, including Anthropology, Economics, Philosophy, Politics, Psychology, Sociology, Liberal Studies, History,  Creative Publishing and Critical Journalism, and Gender and Sexuality Studies.
