2012 UT Austin Philosophy Graduate Conference

We are pleased to announce that we are now accepting submissions from graduate students for our annual graduate conference at the University of Texas at Austin, to be held on March  30 and 31, 2012. We welcome papers on any topic in analytic philosophy. Papers should not exceed 4,000 words in length, excluding footnotes and bibliography, suitable for a 20-25 minute presentation. A short commentary by a UT graduate student will follow, then 20-30 minutes of Q&A,

Keynote Speakers:
Ted Sider (Cornell) "Against Parthood"
Jessica Wilson (Toronto) "An Object-level Account of Metaphysical Indeterminacy"

Faculty Discussion Panel:
"What is Logic?", featuring Dan Bonevac, Josh Dever, and Sinan Dogramaci

Submission Deadline: January 1, 2012

Submission Guidelines:

Please submit your paper and a cover page (in .pdf, .docx, .doc, or .rtf format) to [email protected] Please use your paper title as the name of your document (e.g., InterestingPhilosophyPaper.pdf). Your paper, including title and abstract, must be prepared for blind review (with all identifying information omitted)

As a separate document, please attach a cover page with the following:

   1.    Paper title
   2.    Author's name
   3.    Author's institutional affiliation
   4.    Author's email address
   5.    Word count
   6.    Abstract for the paper (not to exceed 250 words)
