CFP: A Volume Dedicated to Józef Maria Bocheński

At the end of Józef Maria Bocheński’s Year, officially celebrated in Poland in 2020 – on the 25th anniversary of his death, the journal Edukacja Filozoficzna (Philosophical Education) will publish an issue (vol. 70/2020) devoted to this outstanding philosopher.
Therefore, we invite scholars from all over the world to submit articles in English referring to Józef Bocheński’s work, preferably focusing on topics such as:
- logical approaches to natural theology,
- mathematical logic,
- logic of religion,
- ancient formal logic,
- theory of analogy,
- Sovietology,
- authority theory,
- military ethics,
- patriotism and nationalism.
This initiative is closely related to the international conference “Logical Structure of the World. Axiological Vision of Patriotism” to be held on October 15–16, 2020 at the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw (https://sites.google.com/site/bochenskikonferencja2020) and to the workshop Formal Natural Theology organized as part of the 3rd World Congress on Logic and Religion (Varanasi, November 8–12, 2021, https://www.logicandreligion.com/workshops). The speakers involved in both events are especially welcome to contribute.
DEADLINES
Please submit an abstract of the paper first, by September 15, 2020, to: [email protected]. Then, send your article to the same address by October 31, 2020. Earlier submissions of papers are, naturally, welcome.
GUIDELINES

THE JOURNAL AND PUBLICATION
Philosophical Education (Edukacja Filozoficzna, ISSN 0860-3839) is a Polish academic journal published by the University of Warsaw since 1986. It is included on the list of scientific journals of the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education (20 points) and indexed in many scholarly databases.
All the articles are published in OPEN ACCESS. Authors do not pay for publication and neither do they receive fees from the publisher. Copyright is retained by the authors – they only license the publisher to use their texts.
Each author receives both a printed copy of the volume and an electronic one for free.
Authors are encouraged to make their published papers available at ResearchGate and Academia.edu.
