KU Leuven welcomes participants to either listen and discuss or present papers at this year’s Nietzsche: Self, Free Will, and Agency conference, held via Zoom conferencing on November 6 at 6pm CEST. 

Keynote Speakers:  Lawrence Hatab, Old Dominion University Ken Gemes, Birkbeck College, London
 
The topic is open to interpretation, but contributors may wish to focus on issues such as:
  -       The efficacy of the will  -       The ontology of the self -       Nietzsche’s theory of action -       Willing the eternal recurrence  -       Determinism and freedom in Nietzsche    Though there is limited room for presenters, we welcome abstracts of no more than 500 words on the topic of the self, free will, and agency, broadly construed, in Nietzsche’s philosophy. The deadline for submission is midday (12pm CEST) October 7.
