The Philosophy Department at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo invites graduate students to submit abstracts in any area of philosophy for our ongoing Graduate Student Research Workshop.

This series is designed to expose Cal Poly’s philosophy majors to graduate level research and to provide doctoral candidates with an opportunity to present their work to interested students and faculty at Cal Poly. Speakers may present on any topic in philosophy, with the understanding that the talk should be accessible to a general philosophical audience.

The Workshop will take place over Zoom. In addition to the presentation and Q&A (which will run for ~80 minutes), speakers at the workshop will be asked to spend ~20 minutes talking informally with Cal Poly’s students.

Please send as separate attachments:

  2. a copy of your CV
  3. A cover sheet with your name, affiliation, title of talk, and email address.
