The pandemic situation reconfigures many of the social aspects: the relationship between people, the digitalization of the educational process, the economic dynamics, etc. Beyond the negative aspects of this crisis caused by SARS-CoV-2, we can also reflect on a problem present in academic research: the relationship between faith and science. It is an indisputable fact that, unlike some sociological views that advance the disappearance of religion in competition with secularization, people who believe in God pray for healing from illness or for not getting sick. But is faith alone enough? Medicine as a product of science has an indisputably positive and effective contribution to the healing of people. Can we think of an integrative relationship between faith and science in this pandemic condition? This international seminar intends to explore analytically, critically and constructively an answer to this question.
