Details

Dispositional accounts of the properties expressed by value predicates elaborate on the apparent mind-dependence of the properties at stake, and contextualism seems to provide a coherent semantic explanation for the expression of the ‘thousand different sentiments excited by the same object’. This workshop provides a forum for the discussion of contextualist accounts of value predicates.

The workshop is organized by the LanCog Group of the Philosophy Center at the University of Lisbon.

There are no registration fees, but please register by email to Gonçalo Santos if you are planning to attend.
