Arizona Feminist Philosophy Graduate Conference

Zoom | May 1-2, 2021

The Department of Philosophy at the University of Arizona will host a conference for graduate students in feminist philosophy and related areas on May 1-2, 2021. The conference, while typically based in Tucson, Arizona, will be entirely on Zoom.

The keynote speakers will be Gina Schouten, Associate Professor of Philosophy at Harvard and Andrea Pitts, Assistant Professor of Philosophy at UNC Charlotte.

Karolina Wisniewska, Anna-Bella Sicilia, Robert Lazo, Ding, Rhys Borchert, Max Kramer, and Luke Golemon are organizers of the conference.

Abstracts on any theme or topic within feminist philosophy will be considered. We especially encourage members of underrepresented groups in philosophy to submit.

Abstract and papers are due via email in PDF form by March 1, 2021. Acceptance notices will be sent by April 1. Please limit abstracts to 500 words and papers to 3000 words, and format for blind review. In the body of the email, please include: the title of the paper, your name, email address, and institutional affiliation. Each presentation will be accompanied by comments, after which there will be a general Q&A.

Please send submissions to [email protected].
