The University of Texas at Austin’s Graduate Conference is an annual conference for philosophy graduate students, hosted by the graduate students in the philosophy department at the University of Texas at Austin. We aim to offer a forum for philosophical papers for all topics in philosophy. We are delighted to announce that we will have two keynote speakers: Elizabeth Barnes, Professor of Philosophy at the University of Virginia, and Rusty Jones, Associate Professor of Philosophy at the University of Oklahoma.

We welcome high-quality paper submissions from graduate students in any area of philosophy, including, but not limited to:

·         Metaethics

·         Philosophy of Language

·         Philosophy of Mind, Psychology, or Cognitive Science

·         Philosophy of Science

·         Logic

·         Philosophy of Mathematics

·         Epistemology

·         Metaphysics

·         Political Philosophy

·         Philosophy of Race

·         Philosophy of Law

·         History of Philosophy

We especially encourage submissions from members of groups underrepresented in professional philosophy.

Submission Deadline: Monday, March 1, 2021

All submissions must be 4000 or under and prepared for blind review. Please submit all documents (in .pdf, .docx, or .doc format) to [email protected] with the subject ‘UT Austin Graduate Conference submission.’ Please use your paper title as the document’s name (e.g., InterestingPaper.pdf). One submission per author. In addition, please include a cover letter with:
