Breno Zuppolini is a Professor of Ancient Philosophy at the Federal University of Sao Paulo (UNIFESP), with a Doctoral Degree in Philosophy from the University of Campinas, under the supervision of Prof. Lucas Angioni. In 2013 and 2016, he was a Visiting Student at the University of Oxford, under the supervision of David Charles and Michail Peramatzis. He is currently a member of the  CNPQ research group MEZA (Metaphysics, Science and Dialectic in Aristotle), based at the University of Campinas.

Professor Zuppolini is the author of several papers which have appeared in ManuscritoArchaiAncient Philosophy and Journal of the History of Philosophy, and he has a forthcoming article in Phronesis titled “Immediacy in Aristotle’s Epistemology” (2021).

His current research focuses on Classic Ancient Philosophy, especially in epistemological issues in the works of Plato and Aristotle.
