The workshop, which is now in its 11th year, aims to foster exchange and collaboration among scholars, students, and anyone with an interest in Early Modern Philosophy (roughly the period from 1600-1800). This year’s workshop will be a hybrid of online and in-person presentations at Technion - Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa, Israel. The workshop will focus on the topic of “Science and Philosophy in the Early Modern Period," broadly construed to include issues related to mathematics, biology, chemistry, physics, etc. in Early Modern thought.

Submission Guidelines

Please submit abstracts of 250–500 words prepared for blind review to [email protected] no later than May 7, 2021. Presentations of final papers will be approximately 30 minutes long, followed by 15 minutes of discussion time.
