Title: One Step is Enough

Abstract: There's a logical approach to paradoxes known as ST. In recent years, some authors have objected to ST as occupying something of an unstable position: the very reasons that bring people to ST in the first place, these authors claim, should also bring them beyond ST. There turns out to be an interesting sense in which ST is the first stop on an infinite sequence of different approaches to paradox, and these authors claim that the approaches get better and better as we proceed along this infinite series. In this talk, I'll give a brief overview of these claims, and then argue that they're mistaken: if anything, the approaches get worse and worse.
