Details

Following the success of last year’s conference Equality: Are we there yet?’, our conference is aiming to offer students the experience of engaging with issues that extend beyond the normal scope of legal study. It is student led and aims to attract academics, practitioners and students from across the UK. We are working with our academic supervisor, Dr Emilie Cloatre, to build up a programme of speakers from non-governmental organisations, legal practice and academia. Confirmed speakers include Ann Furedi (Chief Executive of bpas), Sujatha Raman, Peter Bartlett (University of Nottingham), Bettina Lange (University of Oxford).

Tickets are priced at £10 for students and £15 for non-students. Please note that there is an early bird price available for students, running until 15 February, of £6. Tickets can be purchased from the KCLS page on the Kent Union website, http://www.kentunion.co.uk/organisation/6309/. As a student led event we welcome as many students as possible, please feel free to contact us regarding further concessions for group visits.
