The University of Texas at Austin Philosophy Department is hosting our annual Austin Graduate Ethics and Normativity Talks (AGENT) Conference on December 10th and 11th. We invite graduate students to submit high quality papers for presentation in any area of philosophy related to ethics, normativity, and value broadly construed. This can include philosophical subfields as they relate to normativity, such as (but not limited to) philosophy of language, mind, logic, mathematics, epistemology, and metaphysics.

Our keynote speaker will be Gwen Bradford (Rice University).

Submission Deadline: Sunday, October 31st, 2021.

All submissions must be 3000 words or less and prepared for blind review. Please submit all documents (in .pdf, .docx, or .doc format) [email protected] the subject ‘AGENT2021 submission’. Please use your paper title as the document’s name (e.g., InterestingPaper.pdf). One submission per author. In addition, please include a cover letter with: 

·        Paper Title

·        Author’s name

·        Author’s institutional affiliation

·        Author’s email

·        Word count (≤ 3000 words)

·        Abstract  (≤ 300 words)

·        Please use CL_[Title] (e.g., CL_InterestingPaper.pdf) as your cover letter title.
