Details

This talk explores the views on gender and sexuality held by 17th century English philosopher, Thomas Hobbes. It argues that these views are central to Hobbes’s (in)famous political theory.

Dr. Susanne Sreedhar is an Associate Professor of Philosophy and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at Boston University. Her current research focuses on the intersection of feminist philosophy and the history of political thought.
