The Department of Philosophy at the University of Arizona will host a conference for graduate students in feminist philosophy and related areas on March 26-27, 2022. The conference will be held in Tucson, Arizona with a hybrid Zoom option for all talks.
The keynote speakers will be Robin Dembroff (Assistant Professor of Philosophy, Yale University) and Eva Kittay (Distinguished Professor of Philosophy, SUNY Stony Brook).
The conference is organized by Anna-Bella Sicilia, Luke Golemon, Karolina Wisniewska, Ding, Rhys Borchert, Max Kramer, April Chan, Jacob Blitz, and Ritwik Agrawal.
Abstracts on any theme or topic within feminist philosophy will be considered. We especially encourage members of underrepresented groups in philosophy to submit.
Abstract and papers are due via email in PDF form by Wednesday, January 5, 2022. Acceptance notices will be sent by late January. Please limit abstracts to 500 words and papers to 3000 words, and format for blind review. In the body of the email, please include: the title of the paper, your name, email address, and institutional affiliation. Each presentation will be accompanied by comments, after which there will be a general Q&A.
Limited funds may be made available to help offset travel costs.
