The Bangladesh Journal of Bioethics (BJBio) is welcoming submissions for issues on a number of topics in bioethics, scheduled to be published from early 2022 through early 2023:

1) Environmental Ethics (Vol. 13 issue 1)

Submission deadline: 28 February 2022

Date of publication: March 2022

2) Police Ethics (Vol. 13 issue 2)

Submission deadline: 30 April 2022

Date of publication: July 2022

3) COVID 19 and Ethics (Vol. 13 issue 3, special issue)

Submission deadline: 30 April 2022

Date of publication: July 2022

4) Research Ethics (Vol. 13 issue 4)

Submission deadline: 31 July 2022

Date of publication: November 2022

5) Publication Ethics (Vol. 14 issue 1)

Submission deadline: 31 October 2022

Date of publication: March 2023

The journal will publish original research papers, reviews, short communications, and case reports to encourage critical engagement with these topics, and to promote scientific responsibility and an international and interdisciplinary exchange of views and ideas.

The Bangladesh Journal of Bioethics is a free open-access publication that was founded in 2010. There is no submission fee, no article processing fee, and no publication fee. Submissions are subject to double-blind peer review. The journal is published three times a year, available both online and in print, and widely indexed and disseminated internationally, offering authors high visibility for their work and access to a broad readership. The Bangladesh Journal of Bioethics is the official journal of the Bangladesh Bioethics Society (www.bioethics.org.bd), the only academic organization in Bangladesh exclusively dedicated to the promotion of the study of bioethics.

Submissions should be

— no longer than 5,000 words,

— prepared in accordance with the author guidelines available at bjbio.bioethics.org.bd/index.php/BJBio/about/submissions, and

— sent to Prof. Shamima Parvin Lasker at [email protected] (CC to Tahera Ahmed at [email protected]) by the applicable deadline (see above).
