ABOUT: Calvin and Grand Valley’s philosophy conference is a two-day event held each year to promote excellence in philosophy. In addition to keynote lectures from leading contemporary philosophers, the conference provides students an opportunity to present and receive rigorous feedback on their own work in the form of formal comments from a peer, as well as a Q&A.
INFORMATION: The conference is free of charge and open to the public. We accept papers on all topics of philosophy. For further questions about the conference, contact Reagan Visker at: [email protected]
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES: Only papers written by undergraduate students will be accepted. All papers are subject to blind review. Please include a SEPARATE title page AS A SEPARATE FILE with name, title, and institution. The SEPARATE paper FILE itself should include the paper title and a short abstract, but no name or name of institution. Submit COVER PAGES AND PAPERS as SEPARATE attachments in PDF/Word format to Raegan Visker at
[email protected]. Papers should be presentable within 30 minutes. Each paper will be assigned a student commentator.
This is a student event (e.g. a graduate conference).
