Ereignis Seminar

Description

The Ereignis Seminar is a monthly open forum where invited scholars present work in progress and ongoing projects. The seminar gathers together people and ideas, and generates interest around our common purposes. We invite open, informed, and generous discussion regarding the thoughts and propositions forwarded by our outstanding speakers, specially invited guests, and other scholars connected with the Ereignis Seminar. The series is conceived as an open-ended continuation of the annual Ereignis Conference.

The seminar is held as a video conference every first Wednesday of the month at 16:00 CET, and is scheduled for one hour. The video conference room opens approximately 15 minutes before the session and can be accessed via the button on the seminar page. On the most general level, the seminar seeks to further and encourage thinking about Ereignis philosophy. Relevant domains include literature, art, philosophy, theology, and psychoanalysis. Papers, works, and perspectives from all schools and traditions are welcome. Attendance is open to members; to access the seminar, please register to join the Ereignis Centre. Video recordings of our past seminars can be viewed on our video page.
